Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We design with keyboard navigation, screen readers, color contrast and reduced motion in mind.
Accessibility tools on this site
Use the accessibility button in the corner of every page to:
- Increase or decrease text size.
- Switch to high contrast or dark reading mode.
- Underline links, use a more readable font and increase text spacing.
- Pause animations, switch to grayscale and enlarge the cursor.
Known limitations
Some third-party content, such as embedded maps, may not be fully accessible. We are working with providers to improve this.
Interactive tools on this site
The shading simulator, tilt table, time-of-use model, load calculator, savings calculator and carbon tool are all operable by keyboard and expose their results as text. Every result that is shown as a bar or a chart is also given as a number.
